Guest Services Agent

Book reservations for guests and owners, process check-in/check-out of guests, collect rent money, process any guest credits and/or charges, etc. Act as advocate for guests during their stay including efficient processing of all guest inquiries and/or complaints to appropriate personnel in order to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction during their stay.

  1. Process guest check-in and check-out, and collect rent money in accordance with established procedures including accountability for daily collection processing.

  2. Promptly assist guests and owners with general inquiries and/or complaints by efficient direction of inquiries/complaints to appropriate personnel or departments, including follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.

  3. Provide guests with information about their accommodations, amenities, services, local area, etc. Maintain contact with guests during their stay to ensure service and expectations are being met.

  4. Rectify guest statements for any credits and/or charges as necessary.

  5. Prepare arrival packets in accordance with established protocol for guest arrivals.

  6. Use computer to process reservations via telephone and/or walk-in's, adhering to established Customer Service Standards, maintaining an 8 or above on all reservation inquiries.

  7. Maintain a clean and presentable work station as well as a friendly, courteous and professional manner at all times.

  8. Prepare daily bank audits and other reports as required.

  9. Responsible for key control.

  10. Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, recording, mailing, and computer data input processing as necessary.

  11. Perform other duties as assigned.



  • High School diploma or equivalent required

b)Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates)

c)Knowledge and skills (e.g. demonstrated ability to work under pressure, or possesses good written and oral communication skills)

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent customer service skills

d)Technical Skills

e)Job experience (number of years, type/level of previous experience)

  • Telephone marketing/sales experience

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
