Summary

Responsibilities include: teaching clinics, camps, and private lessons to players of all ages and abilities, assisting with round robins/tournaments, stringing racquets, and helping out with court maintenance. Strong customer service skills, teaching experience and playing ability (4.5 or higher) are essential. Expect to teach a minimum of 25 hours/week from early June through Labor Day.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Education – High School Education is essential.

  2. Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates) – USPTA or PTR teaching certification preferred, but NOT essential;

  3. Knowledge and skills – level of play must be 4.5 or higher.

  4. Technical Skills – ideally played college tennis or have tournament experience

  5. Job experience – this is an entry level position
