Seasonal Assistant Tennis Professional - ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals
Responsibilities include: teaching clinics, camps, and private lessons to players of all ages and abilities, assisting with round robins/tournaments, stringing racquets, and helping out with court maintenance. Strong customer service skills, teaching experience and playing ability (4.5 or higher) are essential. Expect to teach a minimum of 25 hours/week from early June through Labor Day.
Essential Job Functions
Teach private and group tennis lessons to all ages and levels
Non-Essential Job Functions
Filling up water coolers
Preparing and closing clinics and lessons
Assisting other pros
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education – High School Education is essential.
Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates) – USPTA or PTR teaching certification preferred, but NOT essential;
Knowledge and skills – level of play must be 4.5 or higher.
Technical Skills – ideally played college tennis or have tournament experience
Job experience – this is an entry level position
