Summary

The manager - investor relations will help coordinate the flow of financial and business information between the corporation and the financial community including individual and institutional investors and equity research analysts. The manager will be responsible for tracking Wall Street analysts’ models and research, compiling data, and drafting written materials for communication to the Street.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze peer group filings and communications. Prepare and distribute summaries and reports to senior management teams to support Investor Relations efforts and strategic planning.

  • Coordinate relationships with IR service providers

  • Track market activity, news and industry developments and competitive activity – develop data as appropriate for presentation to VP, Investor Relations and senior management team

  • investor profiles, fact sheets and briefing materials for meetings

  • Maintain database of sell-side analyst models – review for accuracy and report to VP, Investor Relations

  • Monitor research coverage for accuracy; circulate as appropriate to senior management team

  • Monitor and report shareholder activity; target potential investors based on peer holdings and company fundaments for VP, Investor Relations review

  • Draft general investor relations materials (including macro and industry data) and presentations

  • Support ongoing communication with analysts and investors, regarding filed, factual information (Q&A, press releases, transcripts)

  • Support company participation in investor conferences and roadshows

  • Support Investor Relations Website

  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring

Qualifications

Management of investor/analyst relationships; providing accurate and reliable data to the Street; helping to keep group within budget; contributing to improved value of stock price

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree(preferably in finance or accounting); MBA or CPA preferred

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience, with a mix of business experience

  • A strong comprehension of financial statements is a requirement.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with retail and institutional investors.

  • Excellent writing skills are essential.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and especially adept at assembling financial presentations

  • Individual must be a proactive, self-starter, who is able to work independently in a face-paced environment.

  • Ability to adapt to changing requests & ability to prioritize workload.

  • Detail oriented

  • Consistent common sense and excellent judgment skills will be critical to success in the function.
